With smart, seamless integration, BillQuick® and QuickBooks® make day-to-day business, accounting and financial management tasks easier. Critical data can be shared between BillQuick and QuickBooks without having to enter data twice. 

BillQuick integrates with:

  • QuickBooks Pro and Premier editions 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008

  • QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions v3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8

  • QuickBooks Online Edition 

  • Canadian editions of QuickBooks 2003, 2004, 2005,2006, 2007 and 2008

  • UK editions of QuickBooks 2003, 2004, 2005,2006, 2007 and 2008

Synchronization between the two programs is Real-Time (QuickBooks 2004 or better required). When you enter, modify or delete data in one program, the identical action immediately occurs in the other. There is no need to run a batch synchronization process or to manually send data back and forth.

Also, BillQuick supports On-Schedule Sync, , allowing you to automatically synchronize once a day. Finally, On-Demand Sync allows you to manually sync BillQuick and QuickBooks whenever you wish.

BillQuick automatically creates links between BillQuick and QuickBooks records, making synchronization effortless. As you process data and transactions in each application, an internal "Last Modified On" date-time stamp keeps track of the newer record. In other words, you can modify records in either program, then when you sync, BillQuick uses the most recent records to update older ones. Sync Settings provide options that allow you to quickly transfer all or a subset of records by data table (e.g. Employees, Client, Activity Codes, Expense Codes, Projects, Time Entries, etc.) using powerful BillQuick filters.

When you integrate BillQuick and QuickBooks, you gain a lot more than elimination of duplicate data entry. BillQuick’s Projects delivers substantially more robust capabilities than QuickBooks Jobs. For example, QuickBooks supports basic service billing, but BillQuick provides nine contract types, including Hourly, Hourly not to Exceed, Fixed, Percentage and Recurring types, plus responsible manager, estimates, budgets, progress billing schedules, and more. Similarly, BillQuick’s Time Entry is very flexible. Where QuickBooks offers very limited timers, BillQuick supports employee bill and costs rates, custom fee schedules for projects requiring special bill and cost rates, and, if needed, bill and cost rates for activity codes (services).

Synchronization minimizes duplicate and redundant data entry and errors between your practice management and accounting client databases. Synchronization between BillQuick and QuickBooks ensures data accuracy, eliminates time-consuming manual entry, enhances your flexibility, and increases your control over your bottom line.

QUICKBOOKS INTEGRATION

Employees And Employees
Employee Profiles transfer/synchronize between BillQuick and QuickBooks.” You can transfer/synchronize profiles of employees between BillQuick and QuickBooks. This information displays on reports and invoices. Employee bill and cost rates flow to time entries, budgets, and other functions.

Vendors and Vendors:
Vendor Profiles transfer/synchronize between BillQuick and QuickBooks.” This information displays on reports and invoices. Vendor bill and cost rates flow to time entries and budgets, and vendor invoices can be recorded in BillQuick Expenses and QuickBooks Payables.

Clients And Customers
Client and customer Profiles transfer/synchronize between BillQuick and QuickBooks.” This information appears on reports, invoices, marketing letters, etc.

Projects And Jobs
Project or job is the scope of work provided to a client. BillQuick supports an unlimited number of projects for any client. You can transfer/synchronize profiles of projects/jobs between BillQuick and QuickBooks. Project/job information appears on invoices generated in either BillQuick or QuickBooks.

Time Entries and Time Entries
Time entries transfer/synchronize between BillQuick and QuickBooks.  BillQuick Time Entries may be billable or non-billable time expended by employees or vendors on services delivered to client projects. Also, overhead time (e.g. administrative tasks) can be recorded.

BillQuick Time Entry is more robust and flexible than QuickBooks time capture.  For example, bill rates can be assigned to employees, to employees and activities in special fee schedules, and to activity codes (tasks). Also, time entries can be written up/down as desired, and billed as part of a flat fee, progress, recurring or percent-of-completion invoice. Time records flow to many billing and analysis reports, including Staff Utilization, Work in Progress, Write-Up/Write-Down, Profitability, and more. 

Expense Log and Checks
Checks  from QuickBooks flow to BillQuick. BillQuick only accepts QuickBooks Checks that are related to projects or jobs.

Expense Log and Bills
Expenses and bills transfer/synchronize between BillQuick and QuickBooks.  BillQuick only accepts QuickBooks Bills that are related to projects or jobs.  

Invoices and Invoices:
Invoices transfer/synchronize between BillQuick and QuickBooks.”  Invoices may be processed in either program, however, BillQuick offers tremendous invoicing flexibility. With more than 60 customizable invoice formats, which can be associated with different types of project contract type, you can show any level of detail on invoices.

Payment And Payment
You can transfer / synchronize Payments between BillQuick and QuickBooks. The entry screen and features available in BillQuick and QuickBooks are very similar. A negligible advantage is gained by entering in one product rather than the other.
