Top Ten Features of
BillQuick 2003
BillQuick 2003 is packed with over two hundred new
features. They are all nice additions to an already powerful application, here are our top
ten favorites:
 1. Spell Check for the Memo Boxes…. Finally! In addition to
spell check, the memo boxes now allow formatting such as bold, underline, etc. Makes
reports look neat and professional.
2. Apply Retainers and Credits as payments to open
invoices. How many times have you run into this situation where your client has a
retainer balance available and at the same time has open invoices. BillQuick previously
allowed us to apply retainers only in the Billing Review screen. Now you can also apply
them in the Payment screen and Manual Invoice screen.
3. All New Navigator: The new sharp looking navigator has
added functionality. It shows Reminders, Last five reports viewed, Most frequently used
help topics and a list of useful Wizards. Here is a Screen Shot.
 4. Project Control: If
your timekeepers are recording their time to the wrong projects or using Activity codes
that they are not supposed to, then Project Control is a feature you will love. It allows
you to assign employees and activities to each Project. It restricts time and expense
entries to those employees and activities by limiting the drop down lists in the Time
Entry and Expense Log screens.
5. Bullet-Proof Security: A very detailed and
completely redone security system. It is fast and easy to use and can copy security
settings from an employee or an employee group to another employee or employee Group.
6. Bill it anyway: This new feature allows you to
add any Project to the Billing Review screen. It doesn't matter if you had any time or
expense records for the selected billing period. Another powerful feature that adds to
BillQuick's flexibility.
7. What are the three most used features of
BillQuick? Reports, Reports and Reports. And yes there are a lot more. From 130 in
BillQuick 2000 to over 300 reports in BillQuick 2003.
8. Seamless Integration with QuickBooks: Finally the
best of the breeds work  together.
No more Import/Export. BillQuick does it all by itself.
9. One of our favorite features is Auto-Apply Payments.
Let BillQuick apply the payment automatically to the correct open invoices. All it needs
to know it the Client or Project ID and the payment amount.
10. Last but not least… Draft Invoices. Get to
preview and review them exactly as your client will see them. This was one of the most
requested features and now you have it.
